CLEVELAND - The stomach bug got the best of one musician who was expected to put on a show in Cleveland Tuesday night.
Kim from the group “Matt and Kim” apparently caught the virus.
Matt posted this message on the group’s Twitter account ( @MattAndKim ) at 3:57 p.m.:
“I am so sorry to announce kim has the stomach flu and will not be able to play in Cleveland tonight. –m”
He went on to say that he would also not be playing, since the two are a package deal.
“There are refunds available at point of purchase, but I still highly suggest seeing Passion Pit and Icona Pop tonight,” said Matt.
However, the House of Blues later posted this message on its Facebook page:
" “Due to a stomach flu going throughout the Passion Pit tour, we unfortunately will not be able to perform tonight. We've already gone ahead and rescheduled the show for May 13th. We apologize for the last minute notice and we look forward to making it up to you in May.”
The HOB later said Matt and Kim will not be able to be a part of the May 13 show.
The performance was scheduled for the Cleveland Masonic Auditorium.
