CLEVELAND - Cleveland firefighters battled a fire in a home on Bader Avenue just off of State Road a little after 4 a.m. Wednesday.

According to Cleveland EMS, a mother and small child were checked out at the scene but were not transported.

The fire appeared to be isolated to a second story bedroom. Firefighters were seen tossing clothing and other bedroom contents out of a window on the second story.

No word on the cause or how many people were in the home when the fire broke out.
