INDEPENDENCE, Ohio - Melt Bar & Grilled, a Cleveland favorite for gourmet grilled cheese sandwich creations, will host a hiring fair from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 6-7 at the Holiday Inn Cleveland South, 6001 Rockside Road in Independence.

The fair will help staff the company’s third and newest Melt location set to open Oct. 7 at the Liberty Commons shopping center at 6600 Rockside Road in Independence.

The Independence Melt Bar & Grilled will employ about 50 workers, from servers to kitchen staff.

"This is always an exciting time in the process of opening a new Melt location," Melt owner Matt Fish said in a release. "It's the people who really help make Melt what it is. And we're glad we can be a part of the economic growth of the Cleveland area by offering 50 new jobs to the region."

Hundreds of applicants are expected to show up at the job fair. Interviews are available on the spot.
