CLEVELAND - Cleveland police are trying to locate the person responsible for crashing an SUV into a utility pole and leaving the flipped SUV in the middle of East 162nd Street just north of Tarkington Avenue.
Around 2 a.m. Monday, a neighbor said he heard the crash and looked out the window and saw a man crawling out of one of the windows.
The man ran down the street then returned to get something from inside the car before running off again, according to the neighbor.
Police are continuing to look for the driver.
No other people were believed to have been in the car at the time of the crash.
