Man rushed to hospital after overnight shooting in Cleveland

CLEVELAND - Cleveland police are investigating after a man was shot on the city’s east side early Monday morning.

Police tell NewsChannel5 a man was shot in the thigh around 12:20 a.m. along the 7700 block of Woodland Avenue.

Paramedics took the 42-year-old man to MetroHealth Medical Center in stable condition.

Police have yet to identify any suspects in the shooting or to make any arrests.

Detectives are investigating whether or not this was a drive-by shooting.
