CLEVELAND - The man killed in an early Sunday morning house fire on East 160th Street in Cleveland has been identified as 59-year-old Martin Murphy.
The fire broke out around 8 a.m. and firefighters believe it started on the first floor of the two-story home.
Firefighters said there were no working smoke detectors in the home and Cleveland Fire spokesperson Larry Gray said cause of the fire remains under investigation.
This is Cleveland's first fatal fire for the 2013 year.
