CLEVELAND - The FBI is looking for information after a Cleveland bank was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday afternoon.
At about 4:30 p.m. a man carrying a red backpack walked into the PNC Bank on South Moreland Boulevard. FBI special agent Vicki Anderson said the suspect was armed with a handgun and hit a security guard in the face with it.
The suspect was wearing green or beige cargo pants and a white hooded-sweatshirt. He was in his early 20s and fled on foot.
The FBI is offering reward money for information leading to the identification and prosecution of the man responsible. PNC Bank is also offering up to $10,000, the FBI said. Anyone with information should call the Cleveland officer of the FBI at 216-522-1400.
