CLEVELAND - An arrest has been made in the brutal beating and sexual assault of a woman on Cleveland's east side last weekend.
According to Cleveland Police Sgt. Sammy Morris, Robert Nichols, 64, was arrested and charged with breaking and entering and felonious assault.
Police said a man spotted a woman lying in the street at East 80th and Kinsman early Sunday morning and called police.
There's no word yet on the woman's condition.
Once DNA evidence comes back, other charges will be presented to the grand jury.
