CLEVELAND - One man was arrested in the deadly shooting of a bystander on Cleveland’s east side.
Cleveland police said 20-year-old James D. Swindler III was caught in crossfire on July 28 on Columbia Avenue. Swindler was shot in the abdomen while standing on a porch. He was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he died. Police said he was not involved in the altercation.
Police issued arrest warrants for aggravated murder for 22-year-old Carvin Catron and his brother 24-year-old Jonathon Catron.
At about 11 a.m. on Friday, Cleveland police and U.S. Marshals arrested Jonathon Catron in the 14500 block of Potomac Avenue. He was taken into custody without incident.
Carvin Catron is still wanted. He is considered armed and dangerous.
