CLEVELAND - A new South American-style restaurant will soon be opening in downtown Cleveland, and is currently looking for new employees.
Barroco Grill is scheduled to open on West 6th Street in the Warehouse District in March, according to a post on its Facebook page. No exact date has been announced.
The restaurant currently has a location on Madison Avenue in Lakewood, so this will be the second store.
Barroco said it passed all city inspections on Feb. 4 after constructing a kitchen from scratch.
“You guys are in for a real treat, we have a cool surprise, say hello to Barroco Grill DC,” said a posting on the Facebook page.
Another post said the downtown location will be a little different from the original restaurant, featuring items Lakewood doesn’t have and vice versa.
Borroco Lakewood's menu includes traditional American, burgers, Caribbean, Cuban, hot dogs, Latin American, sandwiches and vegetarian options.
The owner is hiring kitchen and line staff for Borroco downtown. Anyone interested in applying for a job is encouraged to contact the restaurant via its Facebook page: http://on.wews.com/12HGr2N
