CLEVELAND - Emergency crews responded to two different water rescue incidents involving crashed boats on Lake Erie in Cleveland.
The Cleveland Fire Department said the first incident happened at about 8 a.m. Friday at East 72nd Street and Gordon after a boat crashed into the rocks. Two people were pulled from the water and transported to MetroHealth Medical Center.
The second incident happened at about 11 a.m. at Edgewater Park. Firefighters said one person was pulled from the water after a boat crashed into the rocks there.
Police said both incidents involved the same boat.
he US Coast Guard said its crews assisted with the operation.
