CLEVELAND - A Hubbard man has been charged with bringing a loaded gun into Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.
According to Cleveland police, officers were called out to the airport Wednesday around 11:50 a.m. after Robert Thompson, 56, tried to pass through the "C" checkpoint with a loaded handgun and five rounds of ammunition in his duffel bag.
The Hubbard man said he had a CCW permit.
Cleveland police arrested Thompson and took him to the Justice Center.
Thompson has been charged with carrying a concealed weapon into an airport.
