MAPLE HEIGHTS, Oh - The Maple Heights Home Depot is one of more than 100 of the chain's stores nationwide that will participate in Mission:Transition, a program to help veterans make the transition from the military to the workplace.

The half-day sessions will focus on job search strategies, resume writing and interview tips that enhance a veteran's job search in any industry and for most any employer.

The Civilian Career Workshops are open to any member of the military or veteran transitioning to a civilian career. The instructors leading the workshop are veterans themselves.

Mission:Transition will take place on Oct. 27 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at The Home Depot Maple Heights located at 21000 Libby Road.

All attendees must register online in advance of the workshops. Additional information and registration is available at careers.homedepot.com/military.
