HealthGrades report rates Cleveland hospitals highly for emergency care

CLEVELAND - When it comes to emergency medicine, Northeast Ohio is doing very well.

A report out Tuesday from HealthGrades ranked the top cities in the country for emergency medicine.

Hospitals in the Cleveland region ranked in the top ten for emergency patient survival rates.

Out of the 263 hospitals rated tops in emergency care in the U.S., 12 of them were in Northeast Ohio.

The other top rated cities for emergency patient survival rates were Milwaukee, Phoenix, Prescott, AZ, Cincinnati, West Palm Beach, FL, Baltimore, Traverse City, MI, Dayton, Fargo, ND and Detroit.
