CLEVELAND - Thursday marks a day nearly one year in the making. The Greater Cleveland Aquarium opens it doors for a ribbon cutting ceremony at 9 a.m.

The general public can get their first look in person at the new attraction on Saturday morning. But you can get a sneak peek at the aquatic animals on display by following this link: http://on.wews.com/Aevodo

It's a $33 million investment that will hopefully draw people to the west bank of the flats.

It features more than 5,000 different fish in more than 40 tanks in one million gallons of water. It has fresh and saltwater species, including a shark tank with 15 different sharks.

Tickets will cost $21.95 per person, $15.95 for kids 2-12. Parking will cost $3 during the week and $5 during the weekend.
