CLEVELAND - Cleveland’s favorite brew just got a national honor.
An online magazine called “First We Feast” ranked the Great Lakes Brewing Company’s Christmas Ale one of the best beers from Ohio.
They called Christmas Ale a 12-ounce package of holiday cheer, spiced with honey, cinnamon and fresh ginger.
According to the magazine, Great Lakes brews around 300 batches of the winter seasonal ale, using about 178,000 pounds of honey, and 6,000 pounds of ginger and cinnamon.
