EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio - GE of Nela Park in the city of East Cleveland will unearth a 100-year-old time capsule Monday as a kick off to their centennial anniversary.
The unearthing of the time capsule should expose such artifacts like a 100-year-old light bulb and a copy of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, as well as historical brochures from the lighting industry.
The lighting institute at Nela Park is GE Lighting Global Headquarters and was once a vineyard known as Panorama Heights. The name Nela stands for National Electric Lamp Association.
