CLEVELAND - Thousands of scoops of free Moose Tracks ice cream will be given away at Public Square in Cleveland Wednesday as a part of Denali Flavors’ 10,000 Scoop Challenge.
Denali Flavors and Premium Ruggles Ice Cream partnered to give away 10,000 scoops of free ice cream and donate $1 to The Salvation Army of Greater Cleveland for each scoop eaten.
The event is open to anyone in the community. The scoops will be given out between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
“Celebrity Scoopers” at the event will include Cleveland Police Chief Michael McGrath and Moondog, the Cleveland Cavaliers mascot.
Denali Flavors is the developer of the Moose Tracks flavor of ice cream.
