CLEVELAND - The fourth annual Cleveland Beer Week starts on Friday with kick-off events in several neighborhoods.

The celebration of craft beers runs through Oct. 27, and features daily events at popular northeast Ohio bars and restaurants.

The “Collaboration Kickoffs” are from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and highlight different areas of Ohio City, Tremont, East Fourth Street, Coventry and Lakewood. Tickets can be bought in advance and are $25, which includes samples at participating locations.

On Saturday, there’s the second annual “liquid scavenger hunt,” that leads participants Lakewood on foot for a chance to win a trip to the Magic Hat Brewing Company in Vermont. This event is $15. That includes five beer samples, a t-shirt and pint glass.

Cleveland Beer Week ends with “Brewzilla,” on Oct. 27 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The Galleria at Erieview will be filled with beer and food pairings.

Proceeds from these featured events benefit the Malone Scholarship Fund. For tickets and more events, visit www.clevelandbeerweek.org
