CLEVELAND - Five men are behind bars facing serious charges that include murder, kidnapping and aggravated robbery. It all appears to be part of a larger crime spree in the Cleveland area.

The Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office indicted the five men for various robberies committed across Cleveland, including two that turned deadly.

You may remember one involving the death of a 57-year-old man shot at the Yaya Market back in September.

The second fatal robbery happened about one month later at the Union Beverage store just a few blocks from Yaya Market. Sean Stewart, 33, was shot and killed.

A major arrest came in November and included a police standoff. Then, 24-year-old Darrell Coleman was taken into custody. Investigators have since linked four other men, Steven Mongo, 25, Demario Lane, 21, Torrance Johnson, 26, and Damon Peterson, 26, to the crimes.

Many people in the area of where these incidents happened are just learning the news of the investigation.

"I know they young, yeah, they don't even know what life is all about. And that's a bad thing. These young crazy guys have no sense of nothing at all," said one local resident.

The sister of Stewart, one of one victims, said over the phone her family is still overwhelmed with grief that their loved one was killed for what she said was "just a few dollars."

The 22-page indictment includes 35 counts. Charges involve several robberies and at least two kidnappings.  Two of the five men were linked with Coleman in the fatal Yaya Market shooting but all five are charged in the death of 33-year-old Stewart.

Arraignment is set for Monday, Jan. 28 at 8:30 a.m.
