Firefighters battle blaze on Cleveland's east side

CLEVELAND - Cleveland firefighters were called out to 3839 E.144th Street around 8:20 Tuesday morning.

Upon arrival, firefighters located smoke coming from the the third floor of the home. The home was occupied when the blaze broke out but everyone was able to escape safely, Cleveland fire said.

There are no injuries at this time.

Firefighters are still at the scene trying to get the fire under control.
