CLEVELAND - A home in the 6900 block of Colfax Avenue in Cleveland was destroyed by fire just before 3 a.m. Thursday morning.
Firefighters had a hard time getting into the vacant home because it was protected by metal security doors and windows that they had to cut through to get into the home to put the fire out.
The rear of the home had several additions that collapsed.
The fire was under control by 3:45 a.m. No injuries were reported.
