CLEVELAND - A fight between Cleveland neighbors ends in death. Now Cleveland Police are investigating a homicide.
According to investigators, police were called to 5221 Luther Avenue at 2:50 a.m. Saturday morning for a report of a fight. When officers arrived, they found a 55-year-old man suffering from head trauma. Although he was conscious and communicating at the time, he eventually succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Witnesses tell police the victim and suspect were involved in a verbal argument over noise. According to a news release from police, the argument became physical when the suspect punched the victim several times in the head.
A 28-year-old man is in custody.
Investigators have not released the names of either the victim or the suspect.
