CLEVELAND - Downtown Cleveland restaurants have been gearing up for the grand opening of the Horseshoe Casino for weeks, and they're already seeing more customers.
Mallorca Restaurant in downtown Cleveland has been given awards for service, cuisine and its wine. The workers there pride themselves on having some of the most outstanding Spanish and Portuguese cuisine in the area.
Manager Emilio Nunez said they have already seen an influx of people -- specifically, casino goers -- visiting from out of town. He said area hotels have been calling them for dinner reservations for guests visiting the city.
"We've had over 1,500 reservations, people coming here to dine before they go there to gamble. I think it's going to be a great thing for the warehouse district," he said.
