CLEVELAND - A memo was sent out to employees Wednesday morning warning them of discolored water discovered at the Juvenile Justice Center.
According to a memo sent to employees, Public Works is currently working on the issue and employees have been instructed not to drink any water from fountains.
The memo states that staff may notice water running constantly at some locations, which needs to be done to help clear the lines.
“The water is safe to drink there is no threat to the water. The discoloration has been fixed. This was a result of manganese found in the water," the water department said.
