Family of 13 escapes fire on Cleveland’s east side

CLEVELAND - A family of 13 escaped a blaze on Cleveland’s east side Tuesday morning.
Cleveland firefighters battled heavy fire in the third floor and attic of a house along Hosmer Avenue just off of East 71st Street, fire said.
All 13 people, seven adults and six kids, got out safely. The youngest person inside was a 6-month-old.
Firefighters said the cause is likely electrical.
