Crash on Walden Avenue and Lee Road in Cleveland kills 72-year-old man

CLEVELAND - Police in Cleveland said a 72-year-old man is dead after crashing on Walden Avenue and Lee Road.

The crash happened shortly before 8 a.m. Sunday, but authorities aren't sure why the man veered off the road and struck two poles.

The name of the driver is not being released until his family is notified of the accident.

Police continue to investigate what caused the deadly wreck. An autopsy is pending.
