CLEVELAND - Paramount Pictures is looking for extras for the new movie “Fun Size,” which starts filming this month in Cleveland.
“Fun Size” stars Nickelodeon’s Victoria Justice and takes place on Halloween, so the film needs costume-clad kids. The film needs extras who are over the age of 6.
Producers are looking for everything from Halloween standards like Spiderman and princesses, to Playboy bunnies and the cast of Gilligan’s Island. For a chance to be in the film, there is an open casting call at the Cleveland Playhouse on Saturday, June 4, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Cleveland Playhouse is located at 8500 Euclid Ave.
Producers are asking that you bring an up to date photo, preferably in a Halloween costume. Producers said they are seeking creative characters.
[Note: The Greater Cleveland Film Commission mistakenly released a previous email address to contact to be part of the film, but Paramount Pictures said it is not supposed to be used.]
They also need extras with certain cars. They are seeking extras with the following cars: blue Suburban, 1973 Pontiac Firebird, Impala Low Rider, F150 Trucks, Honda Civic, Cadillac with switches, and modified imports (Fast and Furious cars).
The film’s crew has also been scouting shooting locations in Lakewood, Euclid and Shaker Heights. The film is tentatively scheduled to be shot in Cleveland from June through August.
"Fun Size" comes from director Josh Schwartz, who is responsible for teen drama hits like "The OC" and "Gossip Girl."
