CLEVELAND - There are dozens of places and experts across Cuyahoga County to help families that experience domestic violence.
But it's the last thing on the victims mind to try and find help when they feel lost and scared.
A meeting Wednesday laid out a plan to use a building on Carnegie Avenue that would house experts and any help victims would need to get through domestic violence. It would be one place to go to, instead of looking county-wide for help.
The building at East 19th Street and Carnegie Avenue is the spot experts think would work best for victims.
There have been three domestic violence murders in Cleveland in the last 60 days. National experts say centers they've created across the country helped decrease the number of domestic violence cases drastically.
That's their hope for Cleveland, too.
