CLEVELAND - Cleveland has made another top 10 list, however, this time it's for unhappiest workers.

Forbes recently published a story on the cities with the unhappiest and happiest workers and Cleveland ranked sixth on the list of unhappiest workers. Boulder, Colo. topped the unhappy list followed by Reno, Nev. and Wichita, Kan.

Forbes asked the online career site Careerbliss to analyze their data for the story. More than 36,000 independent employee reviews from Nov. 2011 to Nov. 2012 were analyzed to determine which cities had the unhappiest – and happiest – workers.

Employees from across the country were asked to evaluate 10 factors that affect workplace happiness. The factors included one's relationship with the boss and co-workers, work environment, job resources, compensation, growth opportunities, company culture, company reputation, daily tasks and control over the work done on a daily basis. Employees evaluated each on a five-point scale and also mentioned how important it was to their overall happiness.

The cities with the unhappiest workers are:

  1. Boulder, Colo.
  2. Reno, Nev.
  3. Wichita, Kan.
  4. Fresno, Calif.
  5. Little Rock, Ark.
  6. Cleveland
  7. El Paso, Texas
  8. Stockton, Calif.
  9. Allentown, Pa.
  10. Milwaukee, Wis.

The report from CareerBliss also included a ranking of cities with the happiest workers:

  1. Dayton, Ohio
  2. Knoxville, Tenn.
  3. Honolulu, Hawaii
  4. Memphis, Tenn.
  5. Pittsburgh, Pa.
  6. Virginia Beach, Va.
  7. Grand Rapids, Mich.
  8. Trenton, N.J.
  9. St. Louis, Mo.
  10. Salt Lake City, Utah
