CLEVELAND - The FBI along with Cleveland police set up a command post at the 4th District police department in the search for a missing boy.

According to police, the mother of a 3-year-old boy said she briefly turned away from him to tend to her two other children at Kossuth Park Sunday. When she looked back, he was gone.

Cleveland police said 3-year-old Emilliano Terry disappeared from Kossuth Park around 5:05 p.m. The boy's mother, Camilia Terry, 20, said her 5-year-old told her Emilliano got into a black vehicle.

In a police report, Camilia Terry said she never saw a black car.

In the report, Camilia Terry told officers she searched the immediate area of the park, but "was unable to locate him."

She told police no one else was at the park when she was there with her children.

Just before 1 a.m. Monday, Cleveland police received a tip the child had been spotted in Euclid. Officers contacted Euclid police to search an apartment complex in the area of East 221st Street and Euclid Avenue.

At about 1:15 Monday morning, NewsChannel5 crews saw K-9 units back at Kossuth Park. The units cleared the scene about a half hour later.

During the night, the volunteer group Guardian Angels spent several hours searching abandoned homes, garages and RTA rapid transit locations. Their search spanned East 116 Street to East 128 Street. They covered the area near Kossuth Park as well as near the child's home.

Authorities canvassed the area of the park and Buckeye Road, where the family lives. Police said they are also reviewing surveillance video from businesses along Shaker Boulevard, not far from the park.

The FBI along with Cleveland police officers have set up a command post at the 4th District Cleveland Police Headquarters. Camilia Terry was interviewed and around 3 a.m. other family members showed up to the police station. Calls coming in are being transferred to officials upstairs.

Police said they have found no information that leads them to believe the child's father or any other family member was involved.

Emilliano is about 2 1/2 feet tall, weighing approximately 30 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray Northface coat, red and black sweater, blue jeans and blue and black Champion tennis shoes. He also has a scar under his right eye.

Cleveland police said Emilliano Terry has been entered into the NCIC database, the National Crime Information Center.

Police explained an Amber Alert has not been issued because officers do not have solid information in the case like a vehicle description or a suspect description. At this point, police said, they don't know if Emilliano Terry was abducted.

Police said this remains an active search. Anyone with information on the boy's disappearance can call 911 or Cleveland police at (216) 623-5418 or (216) 621-1234.
