CLEVELAND - After a Cleveland officer was shot on Monday, police are trying to identify a possible witness.
Fifth District patrol officer Bob Taylor was shot while in an abandoned apartment building at Addison Road and Varian Avenue at about 10:15 a.m. Cleveland police said he was hit in his body armor, and was treated and released.
On Friday, the Cleveland Division of Police released a sketch of a witness wanted in connection with the shooting.
Cleveland Police Sgt. Sammy Morris said the officer fired off three rounds, but they did not know if the suspect was injured.
