CLEVELAND - A Cleveland police lieutenant was arrested and charged in connection with a domestic violence incident at his home.
Lt. John Bocchicchio, 62, is accused of assaulting his wife at their home on Tuesday, the department said in a news release. He was charged with misdemeanor domestic violence.
Bocchicchio was arrested and appeared in court Thursday morning.
The lieutenant has been with the department since May 1989, but has been off on an extended illness. He is assigned to the first district.
