CLEVELAND - The Cleveland Police Department has purchased 32 body cameras for officers to wear while on duty.
But they aren't in use on the road just yet.
A spokesperson for CPD said the cameras will be assigned as follows: six per district, two per platoon.
One camera will also be assigned each to the gymnasium unit and homicide unit.
The cameras were acquired for testing and training prior to purchase.
