EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio - Tips have led Cleveland police to a fourth suspect in the fatal shooting of 14-year-old Lataevia Williams on Elberon Avenue in July.
Derek Ashford, 18, has been charged with aggravated murder. He was arrested on Monday in the 1500 block of E. 188th St. without incident.
Ashford is set to appear before a Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court judge on Aug. 15 at 8:30 a.m.
Williams, 14, was killed July 29 when a fight broke out during a party outside a home on Elberon Avenue.
Three other people have already been charged in connection to the fatal shooting. Bond was set at $3 million for Latiss Irons, 19, of Cleveland. Irons has been charged with murder.
Two other teens, 19-year-old Marcus Anderson and a 16-year-old boy, were also charged in connection to the crime. Anderson is being held on $2 million bond.
