CLEVELAND - A 45-year-old man indicted on 121 rape and porn charges pleaded guilty in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court.

Michael Wise, of Cleveland, faces dozens of years in prison when a judge sentences him on Feb. 17.

While sobbing in court, Wise pleaded guilty to 16 rape counts and dozens of child porn charges, among others. Half of the counts were consolidated.

Between June 2007 and July 2011 Wise sexually abused a boy who is now 12-years-old. Wise watched the boy for a close friend and the victim would spend weekends at Wise’s house.

In October, the boy told his father that Wise had touched him inappropriately while he was sleeping.

Wise was arrested on Aug. 18. The next day investigators executed a search warrant at his home, taking his computer and digital media storage device.
