CLEVELAND - Cleveland's main airport says travelers will notice improvements in 2012, including new display screens with flight and baggage information.

Cleveland Hopkins International Airport also will be overhauling its outdoor signs in the new year.

Airport director Ricky Smith tells WTAM radio the goal is to make Hopkins a world-class facility.

The airport has begun construction on a new control tower that will include technology upgrades. It's expected to be completed in 2014.
