CLEVELAND - Cleveland Hopkins Airport will hold a full scale, mass casualty disaster exercise Saturday but wants to alert the public it’s just a drill.
The tri-annual disaster drill will be held at the airport at 9 a.m.
Fire, police, rescue and emergency responders from 53 agencies across the region will be involved in the drill.
The exercise will include three simultaneous scenarios involving a terrorism incident and simulated crash of a Cleveland Clinic patient transport aircraft.
It will take place on the south end of the airport and will not affect normal flight schedules for the airport.
