CLEVELAND - A Cleveland man mistakenly released after a court appearance was arrested again on Tuesday.
Drew Danzy, 20, was arrested in December on an aggravated murder warrant. Danzy is accused of shooting and killing a friend during an incident on October.
He was released on Dec. 19 by mistake. Safety Director Martin Flask held a disciplinary hearing and the employee responsible for the error that put a homicide suspect back on the streets was terminated.
Cleveland police said detectives and U.S. Marshals arrested Danzy at West 56th Street and Kouba Avenue after a short pursuit. He was taken to the Cuyahoga County Jail.
