CLEVELAND - Cleveland’s newest firefighters are already under investigation for an incident at two local bars.
NewsChannel5 confirms with Cleveland City Hall that several firefighters were out celebrating their training academy graduation at two bars in Kamm’s Corner when the group decide to urinate on a photo of Cleveland Fire's former fire chief, Daryl McGinnis.
The firefighters are accused of placing the academy's photo of the former chief into bathroom urinals and urinating on it.
The Aug. 16 incident is being reviewed by the city’s Internal Affairs investigator.
The Cleveland Fire Department has not commented on the incident at this time, it’s unknown if there was immediate disciplinary action handed down.
