CLEVELAND - Wednesday could be the day we find out who's going to lead some of the local Catholic churches that are going to reopen.
Twelve churches closed during the Cleveland diocese reconfiguration plan three years ago. They recently won an appeal to the Vatican to reopen.
A spokesperson for the diocese says priest appointments will come either Wednesday or Thursday.
For the past month, Bishop Richard Lennon has been meeting with people from the soon-to-be reopened parishes, asking them what they want to see when the churches reopen and addressing some of the problems the bishop says closed the churches in the first place.
In May, the bishop said the process of reopening the churches will begin this month. He hopes to have them back up and running by August.
