CLEVELAND - Cleveland firefighters and HAZMAT crews are at the scene of a warehouse fire on the city's east side.
A chemical fire sparked at Hamilton Avenue and E. 39th Street around 1:30 p.m.
According to Lt. Larry Gray with Cleveland's fire department, a tote containing chemicals and a tray sitting on top of the tote caught fire and spread to a conveyer belt.
Company workers tried to extinguish the fire, but weren't successful.
Now, crews are trying to determine what chemical is marked "corrosive" on the container tray.
There were no injuries reported.
The neighborhood was not evacuated.
