CLEVELAND - More than 75 riders and their horses paraded through Cleveland Saturday morning to raise awareness and funds for the Cleveland Mounted Police Unit (CMPU).
The Cuyahoga Farm Bureau Equine Advisory Committee hosted the parade, which took participants from the Municipal lot to the Horseshoe Casino and back.
The parade also stopped by Quicken Loans Arena, where the Cleveland Cavaliers pledged a donation of $1,000.
Donations collected will help the CMPU to purchase new saddles and equipment as they work to increase their stable of horses.
