Cleveland, Akron on 'most hungover cities' list for bars, binge drinking

CLEVELAND - Cleveland has already been named one of the “drunkest” cities in America , so it only makes sense that residents would have a difficult time waking up the next day.

Business Insider released its list of the 25 most hungover cities in America . With 5.6 bars per 10,000 households and 18.2 percent of people admitting to binge drinking, Cleveland ranked at number 11.

The article came up with a “hangover score” for each city. The Midwest held most of the top spots.

Despite Clevelanders’ love for craft beer and poor-performing sports teams, Akron and Toledo beat out the 216, ranking at six and seven respectively.

A couple other Ohio cities also made the list with Columbus at 18 and Cincinnati at 16.
