CLEVELAND - A driver crashed into a utility pole on Lakeshore Boulevard near East 150th Street just after 2:45 a.m. Tuesday causing the pole to snap in half and drop wires onto the roadway.
Police said no one was injured in the crash.
The road was closed between East 152nd Street and East 150th Street until the pole could be repaired and the wires removed from the road.
Cleveland Public Power was at the scene around 3:30 a.m. to begin repairs.
The car was heavily damage and had the utility pole lying on top of it.
It is not known what caused the crash or how long the Lakeshore Boulevard will be closed.
