Campus alert issued after man beat up near CWRU campus bus stop

CLEVELAND - Case Western Reserve University police issued an alert after a man was attacked while waiting at a bus stop near campus Monday afternoon.

According to the alert, the robbery happened around 1:20 p.m. at an RTA bus shelter on Euclid Avenue near Aldelbert Road and UH Drive.

Campus police said the man was approached and assaulted by another male. Following the attack, the victim went to a nearby hospital where he was treated for facial injuries.

No arrests have been made in connection with the assault.
