CLEVELAND - The burned remains found behind a house on Cleveland’s east side have been identified.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office said the woman is 23-year-old Kimberly Bolton. Investigators were able to positively identify her through fingerprints.
Bolton’s remains were found in the yard of a vacant house on Bayliss Avenue, near East 67th Street, Wednesday morning. Police told NewsChannel5 that the body was burned beyond recognition.
The medical examiner’s office said the cause of death is still under investigation.
After the initial discovery, detectives said they believe the body was burned at the vacant property.
