CLEVELAND - A man wearing a bomber hat and large-frame glasses robbed a bank on Cleveland’s southwest side Thursday morning, investigators said.
According to the FBI, the man walked into the PNC Bank on Pearl Road near I-480 at about 10:13 a.m. and passed a note to the teller indicating a bank robbery and that he had a weapon.
The robber got away with cash.
The FBI said reward money is available for information leading to the identification and successful prosecution of the person responsible.
The FBI released survillance photos later in the day and said the robber is described as being 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, in his 30s, having a medium build and possible mustache. The large-frame glasses are apparently a dark color.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact the FBI or police.
