Bedford man killed after fight on Cleveland’s east side

CLEVELAND - A Bedford man was killed after a fight on Cleveland’s east side Friday evening.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as Calvin Harris, 33, from Bedford.
Cleveland police said Harris was seen fighting with another man in a black SUV at East 108th Street and Sandusky Avenue Friday at about 6 p.m.
The two men got out of the vehicle and continued fighting. At some point, shots were fired and the victim was hit multiple times.
Cleveland police said it was not clear who fired the shots. The man who was fighting with Harris fled and was last seen on East 109th Street.
Harris was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center where he died from his injuries.
No arrests have been made. The Cleveland Police Homicide Unit is investigating.
