CLEVELAND - Cleveland police and firefighters have launched an arson investigation after four eastside Cleveland houses were damaged by fire early Friday morning.

Fire officials on scene said the fire started and spread to homes along the 9600 block of Elwell Avenue just after midnight.

Three of the four damaged houses were vacant. A resident living in one of the houses spoke with NewsChannel 5 crews on scene.
